Cam-lock Forming System
About
Gates camlock is a light commercial, hand-set forming system. The Cam-lock bracket engages the self-centering loop tie, securely holding the 2×4 waler into place. The Gates camlock forming system uses common forming materials like 2×4 walers and 3/4″ plywood. It requires no special hardware and cuts the use of stiff backs and walers in half.

- Camlocks eliminate the need for long and short end ties by utilizing one standard end length.
- Great for radius forming
- A smooth, uniform results after brealback, allowing easier grouting and faster, better finishing
- The cone is designed to allow for slight variation in plywood or 2 x 4 in thickness
